Collection: Fish Lake Organic Berry Farm Wholesale
Fish Lake Organic Berry Farm is in Goshen, Indiana - owned by the same family, for generations.
Fritz was the oldest out of a family of nine - he had one brother and seven sisters, all running Fish Lake Organic Berry Farm. Fritz worked Fish Lake Organic Berry Farm before he was 4 years old - milking a family cow at the age of four. Her name was Tilly. Fritz can remember exactly how she looked.
Fish Lake Organic Berry Farm grew corn, oats, mint, and wheat. They never used any herbicides. When Fritz was a boy, home in the 1970s, he had to cultivate that cornfield three times - there were no herbicides for it. All organic. That's how Fish Lake Organic Berry Farm got started:
Fish Lake Organic Berry Farm always had raspberries and always used organic practices. Herbicides have never been used, since Fritz lived there. So Fritz planted two [more] rows of raspberries to see if I could grow more.
Beth Neff (Goshen Farmers Market director) found out Fish Lake Organic Berry Farm was growing raspberries and invited them that same year to join the market.
Fish Lake Organic Berry Farm also makes jams in small batches.
Founded by the Miller Family and run by Fritz Miller
