Whoa Dough team recognized that the cookie dough market was a growing trend but still left those with allergies in the raw. Too often we hear that healthful food sacrifices on taste and texture. So, Whoa Dough took their time using a lot of community feedback, and after a year-and-a-half of research & development in July of 2019 — WHOA DOUGH was launched! Additionally in 2020, after a year of listening to consumer feedback over social media, at in-store demos, and at expos, Whoa Dough made 4 key changes to Whoa Dough’s cookie dough bars AND created a new flavor for chocolate lovers! Whoa Dough’s delicious bars are now Vegan, include more allergy-friendly ingredients, contain fewer calories, and have texture even MORE like homemade cookie dough!

Woah Dough was founded by Todd Goldstein, a Cleveland entrepreneur and “foodie” who has spent the last decade helping entrepreneurs get their start. In 2011, Whoa Dough’s Goldstein was diagnosed with gluten intolerance which began his hunt for gluten-free products. When his sons were born in 2015 and 2017, they were also diagnosed with gluten-intolerance, increasing his desire to create a gluten-free treat the whole family could enjoy.
