It all began in 1969 when our grandfather and grandmother purchased 3.2 acres of land on the banks of the Metolius River in Central Oregon.
The river derives its name from the Native Americans who lived on this land and means 'Stinky River' as the Kokanee spawn here before passing on. This for us, growing up, was the one place on Earth where we went to truly be in nature, reconnect with loved ones, play, and be in balance. It is still that place for our team, families, and friends today and we created Metolius to bring that experience to you. Derived from our propriety hemp and herb blend, Metolius topicals are handcrafted here in Central Oregon to provide pain relief, reduce inflammation, and promote relaxation. We look forward to sharing them with you.
