Collection: Cocoa Tree Chocolate

Cocoa Tree Chocolate was founded by Chocolatier Abby Mandel who has been obsessed with all things sweet and all things science for as long as she can remember. Cocoa Tree Chocolate's Abby started baking with her grandmother at the age of three and by grade school, she was making fancy three-layer cakes and complicated marzipan creations. After studying Neuroscience in undergrad, and realizing that was not her calling, she figured out how to combine her food and science passions with a PhD in Taste Perception Science at Cornell University. She recently also completed the Pastry and Baking Arts Program at the Institute of Culinary Education in Manhattan.
Abby started Cocoa Tree Chocolates in the beautiful mountain town of Carbondale, CO, in 2019. After eight years in Colorado, Abby recently moved to Dobbs Ferry, NY.
