Accord Market, is a local-focused community grocer market in the hamlet of Accord, focused on supporting local makers and farmers: Accord Market. With a focus on community, family style picnic tables outside, and events, with local sourced produce and farm fresh ingredients, their store opened in August 2021.

Founders of Accord Market are Emily Haas-Godsil and Henry Rich, who are entrepreneurs from entertainment and the foodservice industry, wanted to create a Farm2Me style grocery store for their rural neighborhood. Accord Market changed the vibe of the neighborhood, which only had 3 grocers, none of whom focused on local or sustainable food options. As local residents, they wanted a neighborhood grocer that would support local food & beverage entrepreneurs, and that wasn’t a 1 hour drive away.

“Over the years, there have been various initiatives to revitalize the beautiful historic hamlet of Accord. It’s a great community, and we wanted to have Accord Market full grocery store that was price accessible and supported local farms [in the Rondout Valley]. We feel very lucky to have the regulars that we do come together in the space,” says Rich.

Accord Market focuses on local produce, zero waste bulk goods, wild seafood, pastured raised meat, hyper local snacks, and more.  You can find a ton of different Farm2Me makers here — from Tree Juice Maple Syrup, to Bjorn Qorn popcorn, as well as Bread Alone baked goods & breads, and more.  In addition, they focus on 100% carbon neutrality through carbon sequestration and sustainable sources of utilities.  You need to check them out!
