Atina Foods' Rhubarb Herbal Jam is soft, well rounded and divine in taste. Pairs beautifully with cheeses, sweet potatoes, meats (particularly pork and lamb), vegetables, squash, lentils etc..   Using local Rhubarb, we replace the tartness of tamarind from our traditional INJI PULI (Ginger Tamarind) recipe, which in Ayurveda is known to assist with digestion of big meals! 

Fresh Turmeric and Organic Ginger root pureed, Jaggery (unrefined Cane Sugar), Sesame Oil, Tamarind Pulp, Lemon Juice, Black Pepper, Salt, Fenugreek, *Asafoetida (Asafoetida and Rice Flour), Mustard Seed.

Shelf life is 2 years. After opening please refrigerate, it should last up to or past a year or more if you take care of and use that dry clean spoon!

This smooth, tart, spicy, semi sweet herbal jam has been know to make our customers cry with deliciousness upon eating it on sweet potatoes with smoked pepitas! *Asafoetida, also known as Hing, is a resin from a tree that among other benefits, it is a purifier and acts as a natural preservative. Our Asafoetida is Gluten Free!

Our products are naturally preserved and use only whole foods. We use fresh and whole rhizome/roots for our Ginger and Turmeric, Not powders. We hand roast our spices from whole, then grind them. We choose fresh foods over dried, frozen, or already processed ones.
